(Dubbing News Bureau) Jagtial, Telangana – 24 August (Syed Ghosh) – District Collector B. S. Tehsar Prasad has instructed officials to conduct a comprehensive review of public complaints and resolve issues promptly.
On Monday, during a public program held at the Collectorate Auditorium, District Collector B. S. Tehsar Prasad received complaints and requests from the public.
**Speaking at the occasion, District Collector B. S. Tehsar Prasad said:**
People from the district headquarters as well as from many mandals come to the public forum and submit their various problems, and officials must address the complaints received by their departments positively, conduct thorough investigations, and take the initiative to resolve the issues. He directed officials to periodically review the petitions and resolve them without leaving them pending.
Meanwhile, the public program held today received a total of **53** complaints and requests; he instructed the concerned officials to take appropriate measures for their immediate resolution.
At present, a total of 182 public requests are pending in the district. Of these, 93 requests have been pending for more than 30 days, as revealed in the district’s public service report.
Among the pending requests, 28 are at the District Panchayat Office, 23 at Jagtial Municipality, 17 at the District I & CAD, 15 at the ADSL R, 10 at Metpally Municipality, 9 at Koratla Municipality, 9 at the District Collector’s Office, and 9 at the DRDA.
The District Collector has instructed the relevant authorities to examine each request received through the public forum, provide solutions, and furnish appropriate information to the petitioners. He emphasized that requests pending for more than 30 days should be resolved on a priority basis and that measures be taken to ensure timely delivery of government services to the people.
The program was attended by the District Additional Collector B. S. Lata, District Revenue Officer Prasad, relevant district‑level officers, the Municipal Commissioner, and others.
