Narmal: August 19 (Dabangg News Bureau) – A delegation led by Mazhar Qadri, Regional Director of Distance Education of Maulana Azad National Urdu University, Gachi Bawli, Hyderabad, arrived at Mastiq Narmal where they met various societies and officials. In this context, the delegation considered the demand to reopen the study centre in Narmal city that has been closed for 11 years and sought advice from the citizens. Afterwards they proceeded to the Al‑Ansar Educational and Welfare Society office located in Mohalla Mughalpur.
The Al‑Ansar Educational and Welfare Society in Narmal gave the delegation a warm welcome and extended their congratulations. Present at the reception were Muhammad Iftikhar‑ud‑Din Ansari, Trustee of Al‑Ansar Educational and Welfare Society; Wajid Ahmed Khan, former Vice‑Chairman of Narmal Municipal Committee; Dr. Rizwan Mateen, and other officials. At this occasion the society’s officials informed the delegation that the closure of Maulana Azad National Urdu University’s study centre in Narmal for approximately 11 years is a matter of serious concern. Numerous representations have been received regarding its revival, and the matter will be considered promptly and approved for implementation. Wajid Ahmed Khan told the delegation that the absence of a university study centre in the Mastiq Narmal district is surprising. Finally, Muhammad Iftikhar‑ud‑Din Ansari, trustee of the society, welcomed all members of the delegation and presented them with shawls. In his speech, Iftikhar‑ud‑Din Ansari said that in the united district of Adelabad there are three centres of Maulana Azad National Urdu University – one in Adelabad, another in Kagaz Nagar, and a third in Bhainsa – where students, including female students, can obtain higher degrees through distance education, and he appealed for enrollment in these centres.
