Aasim Waqar claimed that this mosque was built by Raja Bharmal in honor of his son‑in‑law, Mughal Emperor Jalaluddin Muhammad Akbar.
All India Muslim Unity Council (AIMIM) national spokesperson Syed Asim Waqaar posted on social media a picture of the historic “Akbari Mosque” at Amir Fort in Jodhpur, Rajasthan.
Asim Waqaar claimed that this mosque was built by Raja Bhamal in honor of his son‑in‑law, the Mughal emperor Jalal‑ud‑Din Muhammad Akbar, so that Akbar could pray here during his stay at Amir.
He wrote in his post:
“This is the Akbari Mosque built by Raja Bhamal at Amir Fort…
In the year 1569, Raja Bhamal had this mosque constructed in honor of his son‑in‑law and Raja Man Singh’s brother‑in‑law, the king of Hindustan, Jalal‑ud‑Din Muhammad Akbar, so that his son‑in‑law King Akbar could pray during his residence at Amir.
Although its history is very extensive, this much is enough to make many people sweat.
When I went to Jodhpur, I recorded this history with my camera.”
